Welcome to Ziggy’s Art Bus, a place for big-hearted individuals like you! Volunteers choose their preferred sites and their own schedule (weekly, monthly, by event, etc.). Simply begin by filling out our easy application, and we'll reach out to you soon. No art experience needed — just bring your big heart and joyful spirit! 💜


Volunteer Opportunities

Ronald McDonald House Site
Minneapolis
Wednesdays 5:45–7:45pm
Thursdays 12:45–1:15pm

Volunteers lead Curated Art Projects for small groups of 3–12 children — primarily siblings of children undergoing hospital treatment.

Sundays 10–noon

Volunteers design art projects inspired by their own creativity or by using our digital Art Idea Catalog and assist individual children with them.

Private Home Visits

Per Family Request

Volunteers visit children with medically complex conditions or in hospice and guide either Curated Art Projects or Volunteer Designed Art Projects.

Volunteers guide Curated Art Projects for Make-a-Wish families in St. Paul, for HopeKids events in Minneapolis, Edina, Lakeville and Oakdale, and for other community events throughout the Twin Cities.

If you’ve never driven anything larger than an SUV, it’s easier than it sounds! Our bus is the size of a Metro Mobility Van and no special license is required. The Bus is picked up in St. Louis Park and driven to our sites.
